One man band nephi utah4/27/2023 He actually posted here asking us to review his draft because he wanted to make sure he had exhausted all of his resources and was a little scared to actually send it. So Jeremy, in agony and trying to understand the church, wrote the CES Director his questions. The CES Director told Jeremy he could always ask anything he wanted. The name of the letter is because Jeremy had met a CES Director and Jeremy shared that he had some complicated questions. That’s literally why Jeremy wrote the letter to send privately to the CES director as opposed to just publishing it and decrying the church. It wasn’t meant to be a hit piece- just like, please answers these questions in a way that makes sense. It was written from a believing member who wanted answers that could possibly keep him faithful pov. The letter wasn’t written from a scholars point of view. But despite being blind, he gets around and is an all around happy black cat.I was on r/exmo when Jeremy posted the very first draft of his letter. He has been very strong, he is now old and blind (he’s a pirate cat!), kind of declining mentally as an old man does. He has lived a very interesting life for a cat… has fought off a neighborhood bobcat before, he has been a leader of the pack…. Unfortunately those kittens have died due to their health issues. I actually saw him climbing a royal palm, and the kittens were following him. They (Hector, Bug, Vader, and Flusher Frank) looked up to him and I watched him teach them how to do things, like how to manipulate us and whine for food, and how to climb a royal palm tree. We had another black cat who was related to the kittens. These cats were black but if you looked closely. We raised the kittens and, over the next 15 years or so various health issues came to light, which we think may be why the mother rejected them. The mama cat, in the end, rejected the babies. I once rescued a black mama cat and her kittens. Happy I was able to keep her calm and comfort her and happy she and her sister are here in their forever home. And now she’s still a bit of a cautious kitty. It seems like it had a delayed effect on her personality cause she was still quite the explorer for a couple weeks after, then she got VERY cautious. But man she started freaking when you’d try to free her claw. It’s weird cause when I was holding her and keeping her calm (her paw was kinda raised up) she was purring at some points. She doesn’t run from me anymore, but she and her sister follow my mom all over the house lol. We were able to bend the metal and get her out with no damage done to her, but definitely lots of sad kitty cries and she’s a little standoffish with me too.īut a year later she’s warming up. When we’d try to free her she cried the loudest I’ve ever heard a kitten cry. She was generally chill but I was the one to hold her through the whole process as we couldn’t get it unstuck. It happened so fast, because we wouldn’t have let her keep sticking her paw under there. We adopted two sisters with one being an all black Kitty, and within their first week here the black Kitty somehow get her claw stuck under the oven. Man similar but also very different story with me. We feared he was absueed when he was a kitten or something, hence so skittish around people, but he's now living a great cat life with a roof over his head and someone who cares for him immensely with scratches and treats. Now, many months later, he is totally fine snuggling against you and whatnot. A month and half or so later, he was wandering around normally, skittish still, but can tell he felt more secure. But after luring him with many treats, letting him sniff fingers constantly, and never ever trying to force him out of his hiding places, he got better and better at coming out and wandering around. Immediately went and hid under the couch, rarely ventured out for food or to his litter box. So we decided this one is it, and took it home. After a few minutes he sniffed a finger and stuck his head out a tiny smudge from the box he was hiding in. When we showed up, we noticed it was extremely eager to say hello but also very worried. This little black cat was extremely skittish, and hid all the time when up for adoption, so very few people were interested in it. We adopted a black kitten from an adoption center a while back.
